Description
Depart from SKY Hangar terminal at Pitt Meadows Regional Airport, minutes from the Coast Mountains. This 1-hour tour includes 30 minutes of flight and 20 minutes on the ground at a wilderness landing site.
The flight follows a river past blueberry farms and golf courses before approaching Pitt Lake, the second largest lake in Greater Vancouver and the largest tidal-influenced lake worldwide.
Experience flying along valley cliffs to a cascading waterfall at Widgeon Lake, then over alpine old growth forests and snow-capped peaks. Seasonal sights may include the remains of a WWII bomber rumored to hold gold treasure.
Depending on conditions, you will see a mountain peak, alpine lake, or glacier creek bed. After landing, enjoy 15 minutes to explore, breathe fresh mountain air, and absorb panoramic views.
