Description

Escape Vancouver for a challenging full-day mountain adventure. Designed for strong hikers, this experience features steep trails, rugged terrain, major elevation gain, and some of the best alpine views near the city. Choose between Mount Brunswick, The Lions, Black Tusk, or Golden Ears Summit—four of the most impressive and demanding hiking objectives in the Vancouver region. Your day begins with pickup in Vancouver and transportation to the trailhead. Your guide will lead the group at a steady pace, provide route support, allow time for photos and breaks, and help create a safe and enjoyable mountain experience. Mount Brunswick is the highest peak in the North Shore Mountains, offering a demanding ascent and spectacular views over Howe Sound, the surrounding peaks, and the Sea-to-Sky region. The Lions are among Vancouver’s most iconic mountain landmarks. The guided route leads toward the Lions shoulder and viewpoint area, with any summit attempt dependent on conditions, guest ability, and guide assessment. Black Tusk is one of British Columbia’s most recognizable peaks. The route travels through Garibaldi Provincial Park, passing forests and alpine meadows before reaching the dramatic volcanic landscape beneath the Tusk. Any final summit attempt depends on conditions, guest ability, and guide assessment. Golden Ears Summit is an exceptionally long and demanding adventure featuring forest trails, steep mountain terrain, exposed sections, and expansive views across the Fraser Valley and surrounding ranges. These are difficult mountain hikes—not casual sightseeing walks. Guests should have strong fitness, previous hiking experience, and be comfortable with steep climbs, uneven terrain, exposure, and spending a full day outdoors. The route, pace, timing, and final destination may be adjusted for safety due to weather, trail conditions, group ability, or guide assessment.
